PLEASE NOTE This list is tentative, fluid, and open to suggestion. - All members of the X-Men team in the beginning of Issue 1 have been members of the team for at least a year.
- Xavier and Lilandra have had mind sex. The Shi'ar and their fancy vinyl suits have visited Earth in an official capacity.
Although the Shi'ar made contact with Earthans, the Phoenix did not ever possess Jean Grey [Marvel Girl]. Ever.
- Jean Grey used to be Phoenix, has reverted to Marvel Girl, and didn't die.
Every character who was alive at their introduction has never died.
- Age of Apoca-lips was a dumb idea.
- So was New Sun.
- And, for that matter, so were X-Caliber and Civil War.
- Bishop? Cable? Who?
- Time travel and alternate whatsits muddy the plot and should be avoided.
- Hank McCoy is blue. And hairy. And rox my box.
- Wolverine's claws are a natural extension of his body; Weapon X just made them metallic.
Sentinels have not started rampaging. They may, however, be in the works.
- Mutant restraining collars have not been invented. Yet.
- Anything that happened in the movies is bunk. Except Hugh Jackman being sexy, that's still good.
- Xavier's school is just a school, as far as the government and everyone else is concerned.
- Ultimate and Movie timelines are non-canon and do not apply.

This is actually about to change within about a week. I got the idea from hughissuper this morning to, instead of pick a point in the Marvel Official timeline (which is messy, complicated, and creepy, like an affair with your half-sibling), instead, we're going to pick points in the timelines of individual characters from Canon (since characters like Jubilee didn't come in until 1989, but Jean had already died like 5 times since then, and Scott had married a clone, and Gambit didn't really open up to anyone about himself until recently, etc. etc. ) In addition to this, some broad, sweeping things will be laid out (such as Age of Apocalypse hasn't and shall never happen).

lol. Hugh Jackman is sexy.
I think the second idea is good to. Actually, I think they both are, but I think the 2nd will work better. With the single characters timelines, because I have no problem rpging a dead chick, but 5 times? jeesuz.

Oh, also, what about the character relationships, the ones established in the canon? Do they exist, or not?

aye, so far, aside from relationships that are negated by things we establish (such as x-caliber), all relationships should be intact.

Jean Grey and Cyclops are still hot for each other. And Wolverine is still hot for Jean.

I think the boys like nurturing, gentle types. I think Cyclops because he's kind of nerdy and insecure, being with Jean makes him feel like the big man. I think Wolverine because Jean soothes him and he likes red-heads.

I think I feel Gambit is hotter then Cyclops -or- Wolverine.... but yes, Bagels, I get why Jean is so popular with the males. And females in my case... Have to say though, I always liked Rogue better. EDIT: I am wondering how we got onto the discussion about how hot the different people are... oh yeah, I asked
