((and with that, I assume the Blackbird was actually mid-flight when you destroyed its internal fuel controls. LOL. wow. OK, I'll roll with that.))

Hangar Bay X's SFGY Cyclops blanched as he heard the Blackbird's main systems go offline. His face turned to a sneer when he saw all the displays flicker off. "what... wha...." He looked around, darting back and forth. Standing up, he turned to the rear of the cockpit towards the after area of the plane. "Logan!!!!!" he called, trying to remain calm. "Did you find a problem?" he asked tentatively, turning and peering around the corner that had hidden Wolverine from view. Seeing the pile of exposed, ripped wires and no Logan, he gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe Logan had gotten kidnapped. Maybe they were under attack. Further inspection, however, quickly let Scott know that it had been a clean metal object that had cut these wires. Something like claws, he thought. Scott growled and threw the wires down, stomping out to the hangar bay to find Wolverine bullshitting with Gambit. "Logan, we need to talk," he said sternly. <tag Wolverine>

Storm stretched and went into the house, moving past student and walking to the kitchen for a snack. Flying was wonderful, but here electrolytes were down.
She got to the refrigerator and pulled out some juice. Finding the biggest glass in the house (with a house full of kids...it was a very large glass) and poured.
She drank, feeling the cold go down to her stomach, emptying the whole thing in one long draught.
Finishing, she realized she could feel a low hum through the floor boards. She poured another drink and took it with her to investigate.
It didn't take a genius to figure it was the Blackbird, though it sounded a bit...off. She entered the hanger bay in time to see Scott stomping out to confront Logan.
Oh,...not again.

Rogue nursed the cup of coffee, until she heard a noise from the ground. "What is..." she muttered, dumping the coffee cup into the sink, as she moved down to the sub-levels, poking her head into the room. She raised an eyebrow, watching the confrontation as she partially leaned against the doorjam.

Gambit Lower Levels XSFGY Gambit's lip curled in disgust at Wolverine. Normally, he endured his jibes with humor. Lately, he'd felt scrappy and even a little vicious. As Cyclops stormed towards them, clearly angry, Gambit turned to Wolverine and said with a unfriendly grin, "Look like he gonna wring yo' short ass out. Maybe Gambit help him."

Wolverine noticed the situation developing around him, "Bub, you don't wanna go around messin' with me again, 'cuz i haven't sharpened my claws in awhile, and i might just use your head as a sharpenin' tool!" Wolverine yelled at both Gambit and Cyclops as he unsheathed his awesomeness that are his claws.
*This'll be fun.* Wolverine thought, *haven't had a good fight in long time.*
As Gambit and Cyclops gang up on him, he decided he'll go after Cyclops first, seeing as to how he started this fight. So, Wolverine lunged at Cyclops with a roar of excitement.

Hangar Bay X's SFGY Cyclops rolled to the side, dodging the claws, but not Wolverine's heavy body. "Gwauugh," Cyclops groaned as the metal-boned man's elbow collided with his flank. He couldn't believe he had just been considering Logan his friend. Struggling to get out from under him, he put a finger to his visor. "Don't make me hurt you," he said calmly and condescendingly, training his eyes on Wolverine's side. <tag Wolverine>

Having been ignored, Gambit prudently stepped back. Although he was willing to take on Wolverine, he was not willing to come in between Cyclops and the feral man. He did, however, feel that he owed Cyclops at least some assistance. Pulling his deck of cards from a pocket, he flipped the top one off, charged it, and flicked it at the back of Wolverine's head where it exploded. He was not stupid enough to think this would hurt Wolverine greatly, but he thought it might give Cyclops an opening.

downtown manhattan
he had finally answered his phone after letting mystique suffer through his twisted humor for a bit. With a cheeky smile he answered her question.
"You know im always looking for something new to do, and to do it for you, oh the flames will rise"
As those words left his mouth a sly grin sliped across his face.

Rogue tried not to stare. "Idiots," she muttered under her breath, but she didn't move from where she was. She could bench press over 1000 pounds, but she wasn't stupid to get in between all of them at once.

Mystique Somewhere in Scotland
Mystique scoffed in exasperation.
"Get over yourself, John. I need you to get Avalanche out of prison and come to Scotland....There's money in it for you, if you can get here in the next 36 hours. Are you in?"
Mystique had decided last minute to encourage Pyro to get Avalanche. She knew he did better with his old partner and she wouldn't have time to babysit him when he got to Scotland. Yes, it would serve her purpose much better to simply set Pyro and Avalanche loose on the tiny coastal hamlet near Muir Island.
